GET TO KNOW KATIE
A great pet sitter or dog walker needs to be caring, extremely experienced, and trustworthy to a T, which is why Katie consistently pulls five-star reviews for her services.
Katie boasts more than a decade of experience working for the RSPCA, including over five years as an RSPCA Inspector and Ambulance Officer (you may remember her face from the TV show RSPCA Animal Rescue). Couple this with her vet nurse experience and time in the Queensland Police Force, and you can understand why people feel peace of mind when choosing Katie to care for their pets.

Extensive experience with animals of all shapes and sizes, temperaments, ages, behaviours, and medical conditions, means she is able to offer a unique form of care. Whether that’s administering medications in your absence, providing medical care in consultation with your vet, or simply tending to the needs of your active, timid, scared, outgoing, elderly or sick pets.
Katie knows what it takes to make an animal feel comfortable, happy, healthy and loved, and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure her client’s animals feel at ease during their owner’s absence. Her services however, stretch much further than the care of your furred, feathered, or scaly friend. If you are travelling away for work or pleasure, Katie can ensure the security of your home by providing the perception that someone is there. This may include rotating lights left on, putting bins out, and bringing in mail.
She has dedicated her life to caring for all creatures great and small, and considers it an honour to care for yours. Whether you’re travelling away, working long hours, requiring assistance with your pet due to your own physical capabilities, or simply wanting to treat your animal to a weekly walk whilst you’re at work, Katie has you covered.
Her regular updates, reliable and professional care, extensive experience in both medical and behavioural aspects of the industry, plus her kind and caring disposition mean you can feel rest assured that your animals and home will be in the best of hands.
Katie is able to care for large, small, domesticated, wildlife, and farm animals. She is based in Goonellabah, and services the greater Northern Rivers area, including Lismore, Alstonville, Ballina, Casino and Kyogle. A travel free may apply, which she is happy to discuss.
